Voiding is better initially because if you delete them, they will reappear
on your next download. So it's best to void them until the downloading
period (by default 60 days, I think) has passed. Then these voided
transactions can be deleted.

That's an option. Voiding might be better because it leaves the history
there.

I'm betting you are using Essential Register. Don't. Use Advanced Register.

hi, i guess i am using another version of Money, i use 2005. When i R click
on the transaction i do not see this option. I see Expense and Income and
something called Xfer from/to Deleted account.
Looks like manual entry is best....but i have so many of them... it would
be so tough ...

It's an odd problem. I've been downloading transactions for years
and multiple different credit cards. I can easily go in and delete
any transaction in my accounts in money - including the ones that
get transaction downloads. Money will ask me if I'm sure I want
to do this, but it doesn't prevent me.

I'm not using Money 07 though. In Money 07, there's this period
after I've downloaded transactions that Money just won't let me do
anything with the transaction. Cal discussed a possible cause here:

http://groups.google.com/group/micro...a52086dfbba0cc

It's possible that the OP can't delete the transaction while M07
is going through and matching portfolio positions. Perhaps after
M07 is done with that, the OP can delete the offending transactions.

One more example of why automatic downloads of transactions cause
grief on occasion. I always do my credit card and bank transactions
manually. Steve

R-Click on the transaction in the register. In the context menu popup there
is a Mark As> pull out. There you will find Void.

Mark them as VOID. You should eventually be able to delete them after you
pass the window of time during which Money downloads the transactions.

Default How do I delete some transactions?

Hi, I have a credit card which was subject to identity theft. As a result, it
was charged multiple times (about 100) for the Fedex services i did not
purchase. The bank has credited back all the fraudulent transactions. However,
since they all negate each other i do not want to see them in my Money
banking or reports. What do I do? I can not delete them after getting data
into my Money from the bank site.
thanks a lot
