Default Re: Installation Issues

Hey, thanks for responding. I actually solved the issue by logging into my
own account in safe mode instead of admin. When I ran the installer it said
my key had expired and prompted me to enter my order # and password. Once I
did that it begain extracting the files but then stopped because Windows
Installer 3.1 wasn't started and can't be run in safe mode, but I continued
with the installation despite the warning that it might not properly
function. Rebooted and updated the software. I wonder why it doesn't give the
key error when logged in normally..only in safe mode.

I would create a new Administrative user. Check that the SSL2
protocol is enabled. That checkbox may be in IE
Tools-> InternetOptions-> Advanced. Try the install as that user.

An alternative would be to reset your local and Internet zone
security settings of IE to defaults, and do the same for the
Advanced tab settings. The check that the SSL2 protocol is enabled.

It is common with Norton that turning off the firewall is not
sufficient. People report success uninstalling, installing Money,
and reinstalling Norton. I don't know if Trend Micro 2007 could have
the same symptom.

Default Installation Issues

I purchased Microsoft Money Premium 2007 and am using Windows XP Media Center
2005. Whenever I download the file and when attempting to install the
application my CPU usage jumps to 100% and stays there. The program never
gets installed. I've turned off my Trend Micro 2007 Security Suite, attempted
to install it as admin, attempted to install it in safe mode, nothing works.
Everything else I attempt to install goes just fine. Any suggestions?
