| Cal, - quote - > > How do you change your Microsoft live ID profile?
Go to www.live.com, in the lower right hand corner is "Account".Click on Account and sign in. Click on "Settings" in the left side panel. Then in the center panel, click on "Registered Information". Under "Home Location" is the setting for the time zone. Hope this helps. -Kevin "Cal Learner-- MVP" <via_newsgroup[at]please.tnx> wrote in message news:8rj1s2dlcfdpqhsejle8456vak8apdhitt[at]4ax.com... - quote - > In microsoft.public.money, CA_IT wrote: > > fwiw > > > in my microsoft live ID profile, my timezone was set to PST not EST ( i > > used to live on the west coast ). | fwiw in my microsoft live ID profile, my timezone was set to PST not EST ( i used to live on the west coast ). As soon as I changed that, things seem to have started behaving. Although I do log into MsMoney with this ID for the Money online services, I do not understand why that would override the computer's local settings, but, there it is. | Anyone have any new thoughts on this. this is still an ongoing issue. The time zone in control panel is right, however money says During your last update ( 1/30/2007, 4:36 PM ) errors occured in the following .. ... could not update your account due to technical problems at your bank .. note the time. I ran that update at 7:36 PM. Each failure is off by 3 hours behind. Any help would be appreciated. | More Info it seems I am now having issues time stuff in addition to MS Money. I have a tv tuner with tv listing guide, and it's update is now failing with an error message related to wrong date. This all began after updating the money software. I changed my time zone in control panel, rebooted, and set it back to the correct zone ( est ) and rebooted, and the issue persists. any thoughts? gracias!! | while one would think money takes it from there, as I stated, the time in the systray is correct. right time, right time zone. i just quadruple checked. it is as if money has it's own setting stored somewhere. | Money takes it's various settings - currency, decimal places and time from Control Panel > Regional Settings. -- Regards Bob Peel, Microsoft MVP - Money For UK tips & fixes see http://support.microsoft.com/default...d=fh;EN-GB;mny. I do not respond to any emails that I have not specifically asked for. | Microsoft had a system update that changed your time zone. Double click the time in the systray (bottom right part of the screen) select the time zome tab and select the correct one for you. -- Lesa "CA_IT" wrote: - quote - > MS Money 2007 v 16.0.150.1303 > WinXP Pro SP2 and all updates accept IE 7 > Money prompted to download a software update on 1/23/07, I ran the update, > rebooted, and now updating from my bank is very spotty at best. I succeed perhaps one time in five. The failure notice on the 'Review Update Results Screen' shows the time as 3 hours behind the current time. The computer shows the time correctly in the Systray.
