No, both the payer and the payee are closed accounts in Money for years.

For what it's worth, Money says there were two online bill payers used with
the original credit card (I most likely changed banks/services while using
the old credit card). Anyway, I was able to edit one of these two ancient
payer accounts associated with the mysteriously resurrected old credit card
account information. It seems like this should work out but it's really
lame to say the least. Why the hell would Money dredge up information that
is obviously invalid and obsolete from accounts all of which have been
previously closed?

In other words, I have not done business with either the payer or the
payees in years and only recently opened a new account with the payee.

If you have any further insights I'd be glad to hear them.

Thanks,
Richard

Is it an online payee through a bank that still is active and configured
for online billpay? If so, you cannot change it.

Default Help change credit card # in payee details

Hi everyone.

I have a new credit card from a bank I used to do business with. Today I
tried to set up a new recurring bill for this card but Money 2007 is
pulling up the old account number and graying it out (can't edit it) even
though the old account is closed and the payee was deleted years ago. Is
there any way to fix this?

Thanks,
Richard
