| Thanks for your reply Kimberly. I don't use MS Money2002 for any online banking or downloads or updates from MS or banks. Keeping track and recording checks charge accounts, savings, is my main use and need for MS Money 2002. Up until 2006 I had been using Money 99, but was able to get a copy of the original Money 2002 from ebay, original disk and manual. My concern is will Money 2002 run with Vista Home Premium as a program on my computer, no downloads, updates. | Money 2002 isn't even supported by Microsoft any longer. Its support expired in September 2004. I am doubtful (although possibly wrong) that Microsoft would send any online updates to the versions they no longer support to make them compatible with an OS that is at least 5 to 6 years newer than than the 2002 version of Money itself. You can get more information regarding the retirement of earlier versions of Money at http://www.microsoft.com/money/fi/supportver.mspx. There is reportedly an OFX import problem that should be addressedby the time of the Vista consumer release. - quote - > "Cal Learner-- MVP" <via_newsgroup[at]please.tnx> wrote in message > news:vkv9r29mubl3h821rp1p4mtjncpgg7fl0p[at]4ax.com... > > In microsoft.public.money, RayS wrote: > > > > Is Money 2006 considered Vista compatible by Microsoft? > > > It works with Vista. It works with Vista. If you know of a problem, they would like toknow about it. You may need to set some sites as trusted sites. Money 2005 has some known problems, and those are intended to be remedied by the official customer release of Vista. - quote - > "Cal Learner-- MVP" wrote: > > In microsoft.public.money, RayS wrote: > > > > I will be buy a new computer when Vista is released and was reading to see if > > > Money is compatible. There is no such update. Versions 15.0.*.513 are still the latest> Money is compatible. Money 2006 versions. The latest Money 2007 update was to cure a recurrent message to do an update, which would not apply to Money 2006 users. |
