| In the OFX that the bank sends to Money during the initial setup, it can specify things like: <Min> 7</Min<Max> 20</Max<Alpha> 1</Alpha<Numeric> 1</Numeric<Special> 0</Special<Spaces> 0</Spaces In context, these tags mean that Money knows what the password requirements are for each financial institution and is able to enforce them. There are a few things that could be causing this problem: 1) Your money file may have stale information for the FI's password enforcement. You could try solving this by going into online services, disabline online services for BAISI, and re-enabling them. 2) BAISI might be having a problem with their password enforcement routines on their Money interface. This assumes that the web interface is enforcing the requirements correctly. About the only thing you can do is call BAISI and ask for help. 3) BAISI might be having a problem with their password enforcement routinges on their web interface. This assumes that the web interface is enforcing the requirements correctly. About the only thing you can do is call BAISI and ask for help. 4) I might be entirely wrong about all of this. Make a backup of your money file before you do anything. Good luck. | I just started getting this error as well, so good to hear its not isolated. My first guess is that it is a temporary problem with BAISI. Alternately, it could be a change in their support of MS Money. I would recommend you try again later on the 22nd. By the way, your password in Money for BAISI is different than the one used on the website. The Money password must match the one you received for the Intellibroker phone system and, as you've found, cannot contain letters. | Hello all, I tired downloading my financial data today and I gfot a message from Money 05 that BofA Investment services did not recognize my password. I tested it on the website directly and it worked. I went back to Money 05, and it asks me for a new password. I type it in and then I get a message: password cannot contain letter... Where is hades did MS Money get that data from? Certainly the bank is ok with it... Any tips on how to get around this (besdes changing my password to suit money). It is definitly the little things like this that will push me the Quicken. cheers |
