Envy, maybe.

I make liberal use of my trash can. That thought may cause apoplexy in some
readers, but I'm comfortable with it.

Using electronic transactions for nearly everything, and downloading my
account data fairly frequently, significant errors are rare but noticeable.
When it happens it's something like double-posting. That's easy to catch
when you realize you didn't buy shoes twice for exactly the same cost at
the same store.

Can something slip by? Sure. Is it significant? Unlikely. Just check your
receipts before you leave the store or, better yet, watch the register as
they're created.

I do keep receipts for things for which proof of purchase might be
valuable.
