Default Re: 401K ROLLOVER TO IRA

The IRA, assuming 100% of its value is in investments, should have a market
value of the investment account of $2,571.92, a total value for the combined
accounts of $2,571.92, and a contributions balance of $0.00. I'm not sure
what you mean by balance, which usually refers to matching someone else's
records, but that seems to be the answer to your question.

Yes, to achieve this, you **probably** (I can't see all of the account
transaction history from here) need to account for how the initial $2,181.91
(the "overdrawn" balance, if you will, in the contributions account) got
there. If the annuity fund you mention was an account in Money, then there
should probably have been a Transfer from the one account to the IRA
contributions account.

From your previous postings, I do not understand where the $2,203.96 number
creeps in from.

Please diregard las posting:

My question is that for my ira to balance out:
1. do i have to adjust the opening balance to $2203.96 so it can balance
and show a total account value of over $2248.07 (initial contribution of
2203.96 + 390.01 gain)

2. or create an initial deposit of $2203.96. how will i categorize this
deposit (money came from my old anuity fund)
