| Yes, though I also should note that I also open it as Admin... I think that was a key step as well. | I had the same problem and got around it by signing in to Money 2007 offline (check the box on the Money login screen), then once you're in, go to the Tools menu and select "Sign in with my Windows Live ID" under one of the submenus. While it's a pain that you have to do this every time you restart Money 2007, at least it allows you to access the online features until a fix is issued. Following this process, I have been able to pay bills, download statements, etc with no problems. -T "ImtiazG" wrote: - quote - > I have installed Money 2007 Deluxe edition on a clean install of Windows > vista. | But, the problem I have is that it does not stay connected to the quotes server. After a few minutes, go to: Tools ---> Internet Updates ---> Read Call Summary Messages... Under Quotes, News, and Exchange Rates....I get (after a few minutes): Your last call encountered an error: I have to reboot or restart the network connection...then log back into Money 2007 It will connect for a few minutes, then repeat the above scenario. We willl see is MS releases a VISTA bug fix for money?! Dave ImtiazG wrote: - quote - > Problem Solved !!! > Thanks Cal and Mark. > I inculded the list suggested by Cal and nothing happened. | I beleive the key is you have to run Money 2k7 under XP compatibility mode. That is all I had to do to get it to run. | I have installed Money 2007 Deluxe edition on a clean install of Windows vista. Installation was successful but I am not able to signin to my LiveID. It seems that I am not able to connect to Internet from within the Money browser. I have tried disabling Antivirus and firewall but to no avail. Has anyone faced this problem or is it something I alone am facing. Thanks for any feedback in this regard thanks ImtiazG |
