Default RE: Money 2004 --> Money 2007 == nothing but trouble

Is there a fix for the file conversion problem? I'm having same problem (07
will not convert 04 file in upgrade). I have gone back to Money 04 till a
fix is found.

I'm so glad to see other people are having problems with Money 2007. My
biggest problem right now is that I try to download my transactions
(which is the only reason I upgraded) and now, it doesn't match my
downloaded transactions with ones I have already entered, and when I try
to change it, it only lists FUTURE transactions, which is completely not
what I wanted and not how Money 2004 worked. So now, I'm getting
duplicate entries whenever I download my transactions, and I'm having to
go through and delete the duplicates, etc etc... > <

I sent an email to tech support, hoping that will result in some kind of
response. I have no experience with dealing with Microsoft about
problems like this, so I'm hoping something comes out of this soon.

I spent 2 hours on the phone with M$ support yesterday and we believe
we determined that the Windows Live issue is more likely related to
something with XP. We created a new user account under XP and when
logged in under that account, creating a new Money 2007 file allowed
me to connect with the same windows live id that won't work in my
primary XP account. Creating a new Money 2007 file under my primary
account Windows Live still doesn't work. I'm on a 24 hour callback
and that window is quickly closing - I'll be calling them very soon.

The call was free and I recommend it. If you sit at home stewing
trying to fix it yourself they won't know how many people are having
issues with this shoddy software.

I'm having the same issues. Actually worse, I can't even convert my file the
first time. It give me the error that there is an issue with my online
setting and I need to contact my financial service company...nonsense.

I'll keep on digging. I tried everything so far. Even repair the file within
my old 2004 version...

Default Money 2004 --> Money 2007 == nothing but trouble

I can log in and do anything I want manually with Money 2007 but now
that it's hooked to Windows Live I can do very little online. The
conversion process from 04 -> 07 is poor and now I can no longer
download transactions from my bank. The only reason I upgraded to
2007 is that 2004 was telling me that online services were no longer
supported in that version.

What a crock of ****!!!! Poor, poor, poor, Microshaft! You force me
to upgrade to a version of your software that is severely handicapped
and now what? Do I have to pay you money to get it working by a
support call?

I see threads below regarding Money 2007 and Live having problems but
that was days ago. Please tell me M$ has not been shafting everyone
for 3 days now . . .
