Default Re: Bill Pay Question

Normally Money will want you to "submit" the bill pay request 4 days before
the funds are withdrawn in order to give the bill payment service time to
process the bill.

So, that is likely what you are seeing, not that Money will have the funds
withdrawn 5 days earlier.
So, submit the bill request at least 5 days in advance, but you can schedule
it for the date that you want the funds withdrawn (with the understanding
that your bank will withdraw the funds the day before that date).

Default Bill Pay Question

If I use my bank's online bill pay, the payment for a certain bill will be
taken out 1 day before the bill is due. It then shows up in Money when I
update. If I try to pay the same bill next month via Money, it says it has
to withdraw the money 5 days in advance instead of the 1. If the bill is
due in 2 days, Money won't let me pay it that quickly, so I have to go back
to my bank's online billpay to get it done.

Is there a setting that I'm unaware of that can update the days needed to
make the payment?
