There is a Tools|Options setting somewhere in there--can't say where as I
have no more M04 installations--that will also suppress the reminder
notifications. The name is the same, once you find it on one of the tabs.

You're right. Tools only gave me a choice of option. Nothing about
global settings, and there was no envelope to R-click.

Two choices:

1) R-click on the ?envelope icon and say ignore this recurring transaction.

2) Tools|Settings|Global Account Settings|Watch for recurring payments|Watch
for recurring payments
