Money has a downloadable trial version. Install it and see if it solves
your problems. It may or may not. If you are happy with the trial, DO NOT
pay to register it. Instead buy the retail CD and install it over the
trial. This will save you a lot of problems if you have trouble with the
installation or need to reinstall the product.

There is a free trial of Money 2007 Deluxe available.
http://www.microsoft.com/money/Produ...s.aspx?pid=003

You could try running in parallel for a while. Note that Money 2007
should be able to convert a Quicken 2006 file and before, but not
Quicken 2007. There is generally a version lag in that capability.

Why don't you mention the bank(s) in question on this forum and seek others'
experiences with them in particular, as it seems to depend on the bank. I
have had good experience with USAA FSB, for example.

I already checked and I can download to either Quicken or Money. I just
need to know if Money as this same problem as Quicken does and if it's worth
the change. I tend to forget to update and to have to manually put in all
the deposits takes too much time and hassle so I'm hoping that Microsofts
Money program is better.

It can vary from bank to bank. Credit cards and brokers tend to be
better than banks in this regard.

On http://www.microsoft.com/money/bankonline.aspx those institutions
that do not say "third party" in the description tend to be more
consistently good.
