| I fixed the problem, the updates now take less than 10 seconds for both accounts. Unfortunately I fixed it by creating a new passport ID and setting up the accounts with the fresh one. After I did that it worked great. I got this idea from another thread, and the guy was pissed about it because he used his passport id for everything. | I said this before, but after doing what you instructed me to do, the error code I have for Direct Merchants Bank is 0, which means it updated successfully. My MSN Money online transactions confirm this. But it's still not downloading into Money. It has in the past, but rarely. It also reverts the charges and credits, but that's a different matter entirely.. | I use Commerce Bank NJ, PA, N. I used this in M07 as well. It is a direct connection. Also, I checked the MSN Money website today when I had another fail with Direct Merchants Bank. I realized that the MSN Money website was updated from my bank but Money wasn't successful in downloading it. It even said "updated seven minuted ago". Anyway, where is the error code? The only error I see is the one I quoted in the earlier message. Is it just that the MSN Money site is very unreliable? I haven't been able to download my transactions for two weeks. One is for true direct services (special sign in information) and the other is via "third party" (requiring Passport to allow MSN Money's third-party to scrape data from the bank's web-site). Direct Merchants MC is "third-party" from the Are My Banks Online web-site. What are the specific error codes associated to these failures? | I recently upgraded from M04 to M07 because it had some bugs that annoyed me, and I wanted to see if any of my FI's had online capability in M07. Well, the online update has been nothing but trouble. I connected directly to Commerce Bank in M04 flawlessly every time, never had a problem. Now in M07, I try all day at different points in the day to get it to connect but it rarely does. I also have an account with a CC company called Direct Merchants Bank. M04 didn't have online access for this, but when I upgraded it was listed. Apparently it doesn't connect directly to the bank they get it through the MSN Money website. Well it took me a week or two to finally connect to MSN Money website to download my financial information. Every time I tried it had an error connecting. Once I had DMB and Commerce setup, I'd normally have to try 7 or 8 times for it to download properly. As time went on this got worse. Now I can only get a successful update for Commerce once every 2 days. DMB hasn't been able to connect in almost two weeks! (trying maybe 8-10 times a day, at various points during the day) I get this error message for each FI: "Your account information is being updated, which may take a few minutes. If this message appears for more than five minutes, try again."
