If you had specified the edition of Money you were using in the original
post, you might have skipped this first cycle. It is ALWAYS a good idea to
identify the version/edition of Money in question. Alternatively, providing
this message would have clarified it for us as well.

Very few people here use the * Business edition and virtually none of the
regulars do.

That is characteristic of the business versions of Money.

You can switch to Deluxe/Premium, or you can create a Misc category
that you use when something else does not seem warranted.

Under Tools /Settings click on Category Settings and uncheck the box.
