| OK....I just fixed my problem. I searched the database and found the option where I could repair the money file. I did a quick repair...and voila...the calculations are correct! Open your Money file. Go to File> Repair Money File> Quick Money Repair. It fixed whatever was broken, and now my DRP works. Hope this helps you! | I have this exact same problem. The debt reduction planner is calculating the estimated time for payoff incorrectly. I have moved two credit cards into my DRP. I have indicated $x.xx as the amount I will pay each month. When you click next, it indicates that I will be out of debt on the date that the last bill is due, with me paying the entire balance! I have gone back and checked my account bill settings to make sure the box was not checked to pay balance entirely. It is not for both accounts! Seems like there is a glitch somewhere. I'd hate to have to uninstall and reinstall the program...and who knows it that'll even fix it! Any ideas?? | I hope someone can help with some weird stuff in the planner. I have a single credit card that I've put in the planner. It has a balance of $1898. When I put it in the planner, I indicate that I'm willing to put in $1600 as my monthly debt allocation. In the account info dialog, I indicate that I forcast monthly spending for the account to be $1600 a month. On the left side of the 'Define your payment plan' window, it shows the correct current debt balance, but shows the forcasted spending as $0. When I click next to go to the 'View your debt plan' window, it says "With a monthly payment of $1600, you'll be out of debt on 1/29". But if I'm only paying $1600 a month, that would leave a balance of $298... and that doesn't take into account the fact that I told it I would normally spend an additional $1600 a month in the account. Any ideas? Thanks, Jay |
