| The problem with this method is that is will take number of shares into account. So, if you simply want to see the highest price change for a single share of each, you could create a new "watch" account with these investments. But, it would require more work: i.e. entering a Buy of 1 share at the 12/31/05 price for each investment. So, pulling the data into Excel and manipulating it there might be easier. Or alternatively look up the info on the MSN Money website, for example you could compare up to three symbols using the Research Wizard: http://moneycentral.msn.com/investor...og&Symbol=msft -Mark "Cal Learner-- MVP" <via_newsgroup[at]please.tnx> wrote in message news:7vnlp2tj0qqgekf1qiqvmav5quj5g2ot7e[at]4ax.com... - quote - > In microsoft.public.money, Miles wrote: > > I'm using Money 2007 Premium and am trying to create a report that shows > > the > > percentage change in stock price for each stock in my portfolio for 2006. > > So, as an example: > > > Microsoft was $26.35 on 12/31/2005, $29.86 on 12/31/2006, which is a gain > > of > > 13.3%. You can also reorder and resize columns by dragging the column headings while viewing a portfolio. Sort by that column by clicking the column heading. You can position a column by dragging it. Alternatively, use the TotalReturn-YearToDate column. It will show N/A now before the markets open, but if you change the AsOf date to 31 December 1006, it will show the return for 2006. You can print the portfolio. |
