I have no experience with that broker, but I have seen things such
as "General Electric" name becoming "General Electric (GE)" in the
download.

I think I had a case that when I would update during a particular
window in time (such as for the first 20 minutes after midnight) the
broker would have some kind of temporary CUSIP in place. That would
result in the that question being asked for several securities. And
for each that happened to, the next download would bring the same
question when the actual CUSIP was back in place. I found it best to
avoid downloading from that broker during that time window when
things were in flux.

That deal where you RemoveShares for the old, and an AddShares of
the new results in a truly endless loop on the same security, until
you say that one is a different security.

In several cases it looks like the security ticker may have changed (e.g.
the way it was recorded changed as one entry shows an international exchange,
or in one case it was an IPO ). In a couple of cases it looks like the same
ticker but the text name has minor changes. Not surprising that Money then
questions whether the securities are related. The issue is that it ends up
looping and ansking about the same thing forever (I can only break out by
postponing the entire activity). Very frustrating.

Thanks for answering so quickly...any advice would be really helpful.

Is this a case where there has be been a rename/reorg of the
company, and you are downloading a RemoveShares for the old, and an
AddShares of the new?

Default msmoney 2006 loop

Hi- I imported statements from my broker in OFX (QFX) format and am stuck in
an endless loop of "investment verification". I'm ok with an attribute being
different and having it question whether to associate the transaction with an
existing security, but it asks about the same thing over and over...clearly
more times than transactions. This seems to happen with all of my brokerage
accounts.

A quick search only showed one other person having this problem, and he gave
up on Money. Would prefer to not go back to quicken. Does anyone have any
suggestions as to how I can proceed?
