I feel for you but I can't quite reach you. I've got continuous transaction
capture going back all the way to this time back in 1993. I've never
downloaded/imported a thing. It is some typing--barely a small fraction of
the typing I do in a week. But I do get my data, my way. the first time,
every time.

The problem is physical inputting a month's worth or more of data. At least
with WAMU I can treat it like an offline account. Then I can go onto the
WAMU site and download the data in a QIF file which I can then import into
Money. It's an extra step but works everry time.

With my accounts that do not offer this option, I go to the account online,
select the data I want and copy and paste it into Excel. Once I do that I
use a program called "XL2QIF" which is freeware. It creates a QIF file which
I then check for editing with Notepad and then import the file into Money. A
few extra steps but it beats all of that typing..

WAMU probably doesn't know. The whole secret to Yodlee and CashEdge is that
they do what they do by and large without any cooperation from the FIs. It's
called screen scraping. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Screen_scraping for
some insight.

Who provides the data? Yodlee or Cashedge or is it a direct feed? I haven't
been able to update my Washington Mutual Checking Checking account for 5 days
now and WAMU ships the data through Cashedge...who points the issue at
Microsoft... and so the strory goes... When I check with WAMU they deny all
knowledge... we've become a world of politicians...

Default Money 2007 - Unable to Update Accounts

I keep getting this Account Update error over and over during the setup of
all accounts. I tried the suggested route of creating a new account and then
merging them with the old account that is having trouble updating. It's ANY
account I try and create. Now I have accounts setup online and they update
fine, I just can't create any new ones.

Any ideas?
