| Heh-heh. I'm beginning to realize. You'd think I'd get the idea after using several versions, wouldn't you? But I'm sure you know that TechNet people are not "normal folk". I don't seem to be able to understand why it should be easy to handle server and desktop operating systems, mail servers, some fairly advanced virtual PC and server environments, and desktop applications -- and why it would then be so difficult to handle a home finance package from the same company. But you're absolutely right. The only no-hassle Money I've used, from that standpoint, was Money 2005 on disc. I guess I'll go that route next time -- if there is a next time. | No. As to that, buy it at the store like normal folk. LOTS less hassle in the long run. "jimmuh" <jimmuh[at]discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:270C3FC4-3D20-4587-8BB2-2236385ADF04[at]microsoft.com... - quote - > Are you discussing the Digital River purchase / upgrade arrangements? |

| As noted in a previous post, I was forced into "upgrading" to 2007 due to Microsoft EOLing updates on 2003. Updates didn't always work on 2003, sometimes you had to try a few times. But they NEVER posted erroneous data to my accounts. I just spent a half hour manually fixing 6 accounts that Money 2007 screwed up by duplicating entries, reversing entries etc. Searching for help, I've seen a ton of posts this month about users having problems with automatic updates. Some quote Microsoft as saying that the issues are due to a "third party provider" with no estimate for when it will be fixed. Pathetic. |
