The last-month pie could give some indication of where my money goes in a month. On the second of the month, that month-to-date pie would be pretty meaningless. I might feel different if I used budgeting. I seldom look at the home page, myself. I have Money start with the Account List. What you could do is to customize a report as you like it, and save it as a Favorite. Then create an Icon for that report by clicking "Shortcuts...". While the report would not be there immediately upon startup, it would just be one click away. - quote - > It seemd to me that is a very
I would suggest you buy the CD at a retailer. Sams and Costco have> good idea to rename "My money.mmy" maybe into "marian . By the way - If I> buy full version of MM I can install "on" my trial version or I ought to > unistall it?. nice prices on Deluxe without rebates. Upgrading on line is easier, and you definitely would not have to reinstall. However I like the CD that comes from a store. If you then go to install the CD, I would try first without uninstalling. If it wants you to uninstall the existing one first, it would then say so. |

Consider going to a report that you Customize, rather than using the> problem. I have "spending by category" and " Imcome and ezpences" at my start > page "My money", I see the there is range dates 2006-11-21 through > 2006-12-20". I do not want this range. I prefer full month = current month. > So I click "more" (spending by ...) and choose "current month" instead "last > 30 days". It is ok but when I came back to "My money" page I see 2006-11-21 > ..... again. MM does not rmemeber my seetings at this case. Why? > Any suggestion? "home" page for that. Not only can you have customizing that sticks, there is a richer set of reports available. If you switch to "Advanced" reports, you get a bigger selection. I would also rename the "My Money.mny" file to something like "Marian.mny". Then open that file in Money. That is not at all necessary, but it would be my preference. Otherwise I would worry that some new install some day creates a file that I confuse with my file. |
