Default Re: Money 2007 SP 1 and Vista Business

When you clicked Compatibility Files, what was the folder path displayed on
the left pane.
Mine has:
Appdata
Local
Virtual Store
Program Files
Microsoft Money 2007
MNYCoreFiles
MNYCoreFiles.NEW.{guid number}

There were other folders interspersed above, but the above list is the
relevant folders."Virtual Store" is the most important folder in the path.

Default Re: Money 2007 SP 1 and Vista Business

I am running Money 2007 on Vista Enterprise with no issues whatsoever.
I did a clean install, it did the self upgrade, and then launched. I
then opened and upgraded my Money 2005 file with no issues. I am very
pleased with how much faster this version of Money is. Even though
there is virtually nothing in terms of improvements to the UI
functionality, the speed improvement is worth it alone.

Default Money 2007 SP 1 and Vista Business

I recently did a clean install of Vista Business. I then installed Money
2007 (which I had previously been running on XP Professional). I of course
got SP 1 pushed down afterwards. I then receive the repeating request to
install the SP. I'm trying to follow the directions of this KB:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/927811

However when I go to the directory it indicates the files aren't there.
Specifically I'm having a problem with these steps:

12. In the Windows Explorer bar, click Compatibility Files to open the
VirtualStore files window for Money 2007.
13. Right-click MNYCoreFiles, and then click Delete.

When I click "Compatibility Files" it opens a list but doesn't have
MNYCoreFiles. If I go back and level and delete MNYCoreFiles it deletes the
application.

Any ideas of what I'm missing?
