| I'm back. After excitedly thinking the problems with M07 were resolved, I see today that they are not. Programs still freezing, unable to reaccess M07 after closing, M07 still running in the background after closing, have to use Task Panel to shut down all programs before shutting down PC. Any other suggestions other than those provided in first request will be tried and appreciated. As it stands now, M07 is worthless to me...just too much trouble. -- ph "PH" wrote: - quote - > I have had nothing but trouble since upgrading to Money 2007. | I did as you suggested, and so far, so good. I've used my pc all day without it freezing and shut down a couple of times with no evidence of past problems involving M7. Also, I think M7 opens and navigates between pages more quickly than before. Thanks very much. -- ph "Cal Learner-- MVP" wrote: - quote - > In microsoft.public.money, PH wrote: > > I have had nothing but trouble since upgrading to Money 2007. In IE, I would go to Tools-> InternetOptions-> Security-> TrustedSites-> Sites list and uncheck "Require server verification... ". In the trusted sites list I would add these: moneycentral.msn.com fdl.microsoft.com passport.com passport.net login.live.com g.msn.com money:// You could also try disabling the first item shown in Tools-> Settings. |

| I have had nothing but trouble since upgrading to Money 2007. Every time I open it, my entire pc freezes. I close M'07, but in fact, it continues running in the background. I have to use task panel to shut down the program before I can shut down my pc. Restart will not work. Everything has to be totally shut down before I can open and use any other program. I have "repaired" it using Microsoft instructions; and even tried uninstalling '07, then reinstalled it. I cleared the cache, dumped the recycle bin, basically got rid of all the traces I could find of '07 before reinstalling it. No improvement. I have Win XP. As it is now, '07 is totally worthless to me. Does anyone have other suggestions? -- ph |
