| Tom, MS Money 07 is virtually identical to 06 in it's appearance so the learning curve is minimal. 07 includes a feature called "remove all bills data" You might be wondering WHY would you want to remove all bills data but doing so noticeably increased file performance and stability. You DO have to re-enter your bills information but this can be easily done by going through your checking account and making those entries "reoccurring" This feature alone made the upgrade worthwhile for me. If you can get the program for next to nothing, I'd say "Go for it." Hope this helps -Kevin "Tom" <tom[at]nospam.com> wrote in message news:e9yCvjIIHHA.1188[at]TK2MSFTNGP06.phx.gbl... - quote - > I have MS Money 2006, which works reasonably well. I was using Money '99, I upgraded in '02 to Money 2002 only because it came bundled with a computer I bought. I've been using that version up to about a week ago when I upgraded to Money 2007. '02 was working just fine, but the time came when I decided that I wanted/needed a feature not available in the version I was using. I'm currently running the trial version, but if I can get it for free with the tax software I was going to buy anyway... ![]() -- Jeffrey Kaplan www.gordol.org The from userid is killfiled Send personal mail to gordol "Fine. | I had the same feelings, so I stayed with M2005. Now I am going to run Vista, so I bought M2007 and it is not quite compatible. Ultimately I think a reason to upgrade SHOULD be to support the newest OS. Tony |

| Well in due course your ability to download anything will time out. The exact timing of this depends on you version. The EULA should tell you when this is. -- Regards Bob Peel, Microsoft MVP - Money For UK tips & fixes see http://support.microsoft.com/default...d=fh;EN-GB;mny. I do not respond to any emails that I have not specifically asked for. | I have MS Money 2006, which works reasonably well. My question is (and has probably been asked before): Is it worthwhile for me to upgrade to Money 2007? I know if I get the TaxCut software I can get Deluxe for basically free (via a rebate). But things are working OK with 2006 and I don't want to take the chance of screwing things up unless there is a real compelling reason to upgrade (like faster, less memory, less bugs, smaller data files, etc). Advice? Thanks. Tom -- |
