Default Re: Can you open a Money 2007 file in Money 2006?

Sorry - but no. A file produced by Money version x cannot be read by version
x-1 or x - anything.

Probably not. Like most software Money is not backwards compatible

Default Can you open a Money 2007 file in Money 2006?

I just upgraded to Money 2007 successfully on my home PC and the data files
were converted as well during the update process.

However, my laptop is running Windows 2000 with Money 2006. I cannot upgrade
to Money 2007 since this application requires XP. I use the laptop while on
vacation.
If I save the Money 2007 datafiles on a memory stick, will Money 2006 on my
laptop open the file? Then upon my return home, can I load the Money 2006
file back into Money 2007 from the memory stick?

Thanks much.
