| Steve, Thanks for your reply. I'm not able to find what you're describing as I set the account(s) up for online access. Here's what I see: 1. I go to Manage online services. 2. I click "Set up online services" for Fidelity NetBenefits. 3. I choose Investment as the account type. 4. It finds Fidelity NetBenefits in the bank or brokerage list. 5. I choose it, then click "Next." 6. It asks me if I have sign-in information; I choose yes and click "Next." 7. I input the username and password, and choose "Next." 8. It asks me if I'm already keeping track of the accounts, and I choose yes. 9. In the next screen, I match the two accounts up with my existing ones in Money. 10. The next screen gives me options to track positions only, or track positions and transactions. Track positions only is greyed out, so I can only choose the other. The other options on this screen are for how much data to download, and how often I would like it to update. It then finishes setting up for online access, but RECHECKS the box in the account settings to track cash transactions. What am I doing wrong? Thanks, Dave Steve wrote: - quote - > While the account is being setup for online access you have the option to > only track transactions and not cash transactions > -- > Steve > steven_morrison69[at]hotmail.com > <umpy11[at]gmail.com> wrote in message > news:1165782348.445179.189850[at]j44g2000cwa.googlegroups.com... > > I am using MS Money 2006. | I am using MS Money 2006. I am tracking two retirement investment accounts from Fidelity Netbenefits. They are set to automatically update through online services. Every few days I go in and look and the balance in Money is sometimes off from what the Netbenefits website shows. The discrepancy come from the "track cash transactions" option. When I turn this option off, the account syncs up with correct balances again. The problem is, it won't let me turn of "Track cash transactions" unless I stop using online updates. I do that, then everything is fine, then I turn back online updates again and it checks the box for tracking cash transactions. Can't I use the online features while keeping this option turned off? Thanks in advance for any help with this problem. Dave |
