| Keith, Is this problem occurring on one particular record or all records? If it's happening on one record only, then you have a possible corruption issue. The only way that I've found to correct this problem is to do the Export/Import routine. I would only recommend THAT if you are very experienced with MS Money and very familiar with all of your accounts and all of your investments. Here is a link to check out http://support.microsoft.com/kb/178830/en-us If you are going to attempt it, one thing that they left out of the tutorial was that you should put an underscore _ in front of ALL of the .qif files that you create for your investment accounts so that you can later associate their corresponding Cash accounts to them. For example: _Fidelity.qif FidelityCash.qif _Vanguard.qif VanguardCash.qif I've performed this in the past so if you need help post back. Good luck -Kevin "Dick Watson" <littlegreengecko[at]mind-enufalready-spring.com> wrote in message news:O2oa5oFHHHA.1276[at]TK2MSFTNGP04.phx.gbl... - quote - > Do you have any of the accessibility sticky mods for keyboard activated? > It's just a guess. In Money 2004, which you are using, go to Tools-> Options-> Editing.> the screen flashes, I have tried clicking once on the transaction and doing > this and also tried clicking twice (as if to edit the transaction) but > neither does anything??? Make sure that KeyboardShortcutsForQuickenUsers is not ticked. Select one transaction in the register, and watch the C column for the transaction. Hold down both the Ctrl and Shift keys as you momentarily poke the M key. If the C column does not change, try the other Ctrl and Shift keys. If the C column still does not change, a different keyboard. If the problem persists, you have probably installed a piece of software that is intercepting the keystrokes. You could try a clean or selective boot of Windows XP to cause other software to not load on boot. - quote - > "Cal Learner-- MVP" <via_newsgroup[at]please.tnx> wrote in message > news:jkamn21em23hpqgulh8dp8pcr7gpnuqp7s[at]4ax.com... > > In microsoft.public.money, Keith wrote: > > > > Thanks for the reply and info, however when I tried this it does not work > > > in > > > mine, When I go to Help> About, my version is 12.0, should this work ok? > > > Yes. | Do you have any of the accessibility sticky mods for keyboard activated? It's just a guess. This has always worked here... Yes. You need to select the a particular entry in the register.> mine, When I go to Help> About, my version is 12.0, should this work ok? You could also mark *all* entries as reconciled: Select to show only unreconciled transactions. Sort by date, and go to the oldest transaction. Hold down Cntl+Shift+M and let auto-repeat work thru the transactions until none are left showing. Then balance making the starting and ending balance match the known balance. Choose the balance date to be the day after your last transaction. This is not the normal procedure. It starts you with an amnesty for former balancing. - quote - > Thanks > Keith > "Dick Watson" <littlegreengecko[at]mind-enufalready-spring.com> wrote in > message news:eLwSVa4GHHA.320[at]TK2MSFTNGP06.phx.gbl... > > One: Ctrl+Shift+M and Ctrl+M, respectively, with the transaction selected > > in the Register view. > > > "Keith" <me[at]here.com> wrote in message > > news:evGtfj3GHHA.5012[at]TK2MSFTNGP05.phx.gbl... > > > Are there any shortcuts in Money 2003 to mark items as reconciled or > > > cleared without right clicking and choosing the option in the main > > > registry? > > |
