You tried that, and downloads then failed? Perhaps there are
transactions being downloaded that are not ones that are not buy,
sell, reinvestDividend, etc.

The best way to handle this is to specify that the cash transactions
register should be the TransferTo register. Money should have no
problem remembering that. That seems like the best way to me, and I
would not consider it a workaround. If you would like to think of it
as a workaround, you can do that. The actual workaround might be to
make some adjusting transactions there to account for the funds that
are being added to the account.

To not have a cash transactions register for that account, from
Account Settings, untick TrackCashTransactions. Some people like it
that way.

Default 401k download without Cash Account

My 401k provider allows me to download my transactions into Money, but when
the 24 transactions come in every 2 weeks, I have to manually select "None"
24 times in the "transfer from" box. If I try to uncheck the "track cash
transactions" box in the account settings screen, I get an error that it is
required for online updates. This is exceedingly tedius, does anyone know a
work around?

Thx
