You are maybe the first poster here who started with MEss. I'm not sure
there have been any reports on upgrading from MEss to "real" Money. It may
be possible and designed to work. Can't say for sure.

If you can upgrade to Deluxe, it would let you fix the second issue. It
almost surely will not fix the first. But if you are happy with MEss, you
will almost surely find real Money vast overkill. Maybe an analogy is
scooter to mountain bike. If the scooter is working for you, perhaps the
mountain bike won't be what you were imagining.

If you saved the install file for Essentials, you could download and install
the Deluxe trial and, having also saved a copy of your data file, try
opening it in Deluxe. If you don't like Deluxe, you'd probably end up
reinstalling MEss. Again, there have been no reports here on this.
