 Re: Transaction error in Money 2007 Thanks Cal, once again you solved the problem. I deleted the IE File Cache and ran the quick file repair with success. Art ps - when I said I had deleted the statement, I had performed the right click and delete. The resulted in the file still being listed. |

In Internet Explorer delete your browser temporary files with Tools-> InternetOptions-> DeleteFiles. Then in Money do File-> RepairMoneyFile-> QuickFileRepair again. Still not fixed? Go to Tools-> Settings-> OnlineServiceSetting and select ShowStandardizedPayeeNamesForWhichANameIsNotFound. This appears to be a global (inter-file) setting. | Transaction error in Money 2007 Since TAXCUT is out and Money is free with it (Staples), I purchased and upgraded from 06 to 07. My first download resulted in a transaction on my Fidelity account that listed the sale of one mutual fund and the purchase of another. Following the prompts I accepted each transaction but received the following error: An error occurred but Money was unable to retrieve and display details about what happened. (Resource = rcmpiad. Error = 4061.) I have tried deleting the transaction but it continually says 1 transaction to read. I have run salvage and it claimed to fix some on-line issues. tried to redelete the transaction with the same results ran update again and it downloaded it a second time. Same error. Only this time it showed 2 transactions not read. When I deleted it did delete 1 of them. Final information, the register shows the transaction as being received from on-line update. How can I get rid of the "Transaction to read"? Art McClinton |
