Default RE: Money Down

I am having the same problem signing into Money 2006. I just installed it on
my system and attempted to sign-in but could not. I went out to Windows Live
and changed by sign-in information for Passport--but Money will still not let
me sign-in to the application on my machine. Thoughts?

I was not able to receive online services on 11/17 and I am using XP pro,
Money 2006. This has happened a few times in the past but am usually able to
log in after an hour or so.

Could you please tell me when you received this information from support?

I was able to sign-in and update my accounts on 11/16 (Thursday) with no
problems. I am acutely aware of Windows 98 age and lack of support and the
need to update to a newer OS, however, I have not received any warnings/info
about Microsoft removing the ability to access on-line services to any of
their
products for Windows 98.

Thanks,
John

And I've heard from support that you can no longer sign in using Windows 98.

My point was that if I had not checked the news groups I would not have
known that the problem was the server and not my Money product. Becuase I
could not log in I couldnt check network status therefore I had no way of
knowing the problem.

There are problems with sign in using Windows 98.
You may want to see if you can take your file to a computer that has Windows
XP and then try removing the Passport and then take it back to your 98
machine and see if you can then open it.

Windows 98 is an old operating system that is no longer supported by
Microsoft.
