Indeed. The threshold for recent appears to be about a year. I have two
explicit payees that are over a year from most recent activity. I have
probably dozens of implicit payees more recent than that. So I think the
criteria for making it into the pulldown is explicit and used within last
year.

explicit list but did not count. I did individually verify several deletes
from the explicit list did disappear from the pulldown thereafter. Perhaps I
keep the list pruned so that explicit=recent?

Not sure this will help - the pulldown doesn't display the complete explicit
list (aka Payees page). Rather, it only displays payees that have been used
recently -- I'm not sure what time period the filter is using for "recent".

I see 34 Payees in my explicit list (the Payees page). That's what I see in
the pulldown on a new transaction. I deleted one or two I'd noticed in there
that crept in there by mistake or were obsolete. They were gone from the
pulldown on the next transaction I checked from.

Maybe somebody else has some thoughts?

How do I delete some of the names in my "Pay To" list (the "pay to" list that
is used when making entries into your accounts)? I deleted a large amount in
the payees list but they still show when selecting "pay to" when creating a
new account entry. I tried the FAQ page and online help and couldn’t find
