| Yes.. my loan payment is from a Bank Checking Account. I'll watch to see if I notice any doubling of amounts or anything else that may now be broken as a result of the fix. ![]() johnbusc[at]hotmail.com wrote: - quote - > Anna, > Thanks for checking this out for me! | Anna, Thanks for checking this out for me! I believe the difference may relate to the fact that my loan bill is setup to be paid out of a cash account. I use the cash account to pay the loan payment within Money and then setup the actual bank loan payment as a transfer to the cash account. I think the differences between how Money handles cash accounts vs. bank accounts my be the cause for the difference between what you and I see. Is your loan payment from a bank account within Money? Regardless, I just wanted to have someone else check it out in light of another thread where someone had reported a doubling of their loan payment post-SP. It had me concerned that the fix may have actually broken other things related to loan payments. I haven't seen anything like that thread's issue and suspect that what you checked for me is just a harmless anomaly on my end. Let's hope so! Thanks again. | JB, No, mine doesn't seem to be acting the same way as yours. This is what I tried: - quote - > From Bill Summary I click on Enter in Register and I get the "Add
box. So I hit cancel.Transaction" dialog window. The cursor is blinking in the check number I go to Calendar, double click on the day and it opens "Bill Calendar" dialog box which lists my payments due on that day. I select the Loan Payment and click on Enter in Register and I get the "Record Payment to BANK" box. I do have a check number box that is available (not dimmed)... The only difference is that the DATE is highlighted for me to change instead of the cursor blinking in the check number box. I hit Cancel and then Close. I go back to the Bill Summary and double click on the transaction and the "Add Transaction" dialog box pops up, but the check number box is still there with the cursor blinking in it. I have 3 Loan Payments scheduled and I checked all three with the same results. Maybe my Loan Payments were set up a little differently from the beginning. | Anna, Seems to be the case for me as well, except if you "Enter in Register" from Bills Summary it brings up a "withdrawal" dialog and prompts for a check number. If you cancel, then go to Bills Calendar and "Enter in Register" the same payment, it brings up a "spend" dialog with no check number prompt. Then canceling that and going back to Bills Summary and repeating the first step brings up the "withdrawal" dialog but this time with no check number field or prompt! Very strange. Closing Money and re-opening resets this back to prompting for check number again! Can you check this out and post back whether this is happening to you?
