| Thank you for your suggestion. Employee Share Option transactions are not supported by QIF (according to Money) and such transactions are ignored by the Export. The corruption must be somewhere outside of the investment transactions exported/imported. | A thought and I haven't tried it but - oh and take copies of your .mny file before starting - what about exporting the offending account to QIF, deleting the account and then importing from the QIF. | MS Money 2002 Financial Suite version 10.0 (UK) I am encountering regular corruption of my Money file, and is not cured by the salvage utilities. I have isolated the corruption to one particular account: an investment account used for tracking employee share options. The corruption can only be removed by manually recreating the complete account. Voiding specific transactions has no effect, even if all transactions are voided! The corruption only shows up when I run a Monthly Report. The account is fed from my current account, via components of a Payslip transaction, which are Transfers to the cash account part of the investment account. I am fed up with having to regularly recreate this account, which now contains many transactions. Is this bug known to anyone? Has it been cured by later versions possibly? I've been reluctant to upgrade from Money 2002 FS to-date as I've read later versions are no better and may even be functionally retrograde to my current version. Any advice gratefully received. Thank you. |
