Mine reported bug is still broken too. Transfers to 401(k) accounts are
still improperly counted as an expense, rendering the budget and lifetime
planner useless.

That feature now works properly following the download and installation of SP1
on my installation of M2007.

Are you sure you updated your M2007 version properly?

Still Broken:

• Corrects the subtotal for an account balance that appears in reports such
as the Net Worth and Account Balance reports when you customize the date.

ones.

If you get the prompt, read teh details. You have to log into Windows with
administrator rights. If you're using Windows XP Home or something
equivalent, you're an administrator by default, I think. In XP Pro you
might not be.

FYI -

if anyone doesn't get the OK button at the end of install, just hit
ENTER. If you've clicked off the finish dialog, just click back on it
and hit ENTER!

Don't know if this was just me, but other than the missing OK button,
the update went fine.

Regards,
JB

I just opened M07, got a message that it needed to download an update.
Closed money, downloaded, installed update. Re-opened M07 and the version #
ends in .1024.
So it seems that the update is being sent down.

Just chatted with MS Money support. He said, once you reboot the machine and
start Money, it should ask you for upgrade to SP1. I told him it ain't
happening. He couldn't tell why nor could he point me to any link on MS site
where I can download the SP1. So I guess indeed only the shadow knows.

Only the shadow knows. And it isn't telling.

Perhaps they decided to improve the "Money is already running" feature?!?

For me, upgrading to 2007 was a waste of time and money. Nothing new I
cared about except for the bug I reported.

Bruce.

The bug I took the time to report and help them reproduce isn't mentioned at
all, so I guess I wasted my time.

Bruce.

Seems to me that the only thing this new service pack update will solve
FOR ME is I can now get accurate Net Worth information for the current
day.
