Many have tried for years to get improvements, enhancements, and bug fixes
for SB. None have succeeded.

Thanks for the input. Yeah, that's what I do now. I have created about 5
basic templates and change out the img files as needed (strictly html). Silly
me was hoping that MS would actually correct this buggy thing to win over
more business types, but as you said... no interest. Maybe they'll add the
Portfolio Manager to the Small Business Accounting program? Or offer it as an
Add-In? MS are you listening?

FWIW, tweaking the HTML directly is the better path (for experienced HTML
coders) if you want your invoice to look better than what M$ offers. Since
I've been using it, M$ has REMOVED functionality from the ActiveX control
that provides the grid information. (Used to be a time when you could show
the date of a service on the invoice.) M$ just isn't interested in selling
the Money package to small business types. The Business side of Money just
hasn't received any positive attention since... uh, about forever.

The thing to remember is that once you've added your own personal touch to
the HTML, don't ever use Designer to maintain it afterwards. It will just
undo all your efforts.

As for multiple logos - create multiple templates. You don't have to use the
one-and-only Logo definition in the HTML template. Insert whatever graphics
you wish as long as they are supported by browsers (i.e., GIF, JPG). You can
strip out the Designer reference to the one-and-only Logo.

Just start off with Designer to get the basics on the template. Locate the
template (called "usr*.htm" under Document and Settings\All
Users\Applicatifon Data\Microsoft\Money\<version> \Invoice on my machine --
also check the *Invoice.ntd file for a crossreference between the template
name and the file name) and have at it. A lot of trial and error and you
will eventually have an invoice that looks really professional rather than
like something that came out of Money.

If all your invoices look similar, take the effort on the first and then
clone it to the second, third, etc. You can always add (or remove) entries
as necessary to the *Invoice.ntd file.

Default Invoice Designer

Any hope of a fix for the erratic behavior of the Invoice Designer? I'm kinda
tired of having to recreate custom plates in html. BTW... FrontPage 2003
allows for editing the layers of the invoice .htm templates. Does anyone know
of another work around if you want to do more than uncheck boxes? I have
multiple logos that I like to switch out and I currently can't do it with the
interface in Designer. I HAVE to go into the .htm file.
