| Thanks for the Knowledge Base article; I'm not sure how I missed it in my own search. Unfortunately, none of their litany of methods worked (although I didn't actually try reinstalling the entire software package). Very, very frustrating. | I would guess Method 5 in http://support.microsoft.com/kb/891338/en-us may resolve this. If not, try the others. -Mark <zmunson[at]gmail.com> wrote in message news:1162563812.676966.186670[at]m7g2000cwm.googlegroups.com... - quote - > Hello, > I use Money (2006 Premium) from two different computers, transferring > my data file back and forth via a thumb drive. | Hello, I use Money (2006 Premium) from two different computers, transferring my data file back and forth via a thumb drive. This has worked fine for two years, but a recent problem has cropped up: I can no longer log into the file using my 'microsoft passport credentials'. If I open the exact same file on my second computer, however, everything still works fine. This is very annoying, as it means I can only really work from one of the computers (without the online update-- which requires the passport login-- I can't do much). I have no idea why the two files are acting differently on the two computers. I haven't changed my installations of Money, and as I said I use the exact same money data file on both. I've looked through MS Money knowledge base and done some googling, but haven't found anything. Suggestions? Am I missing some obvious setting somewhere? Thanks, Ziad |
