| Yeah, funny isn't it? Trying to find an easier approach made it more difficult and I ended up doing exactly what I was trying to avoid. Just now laughing at myself. Every once in a while I read some to this newsgroup and I'm sure I picked up a thing or two from your excellent posts. Thanks Michael. | Hi Michael, I ended up closing the account and cutting and pasting all of the transactions within it. I had wanted to avoid doing this but... Just from memory (having done the above before seeing your post) I couldn't find this option for this financial institution and so couldn't do this. All of my other financial institutions had this option since I had completed setting them up. In this case I never went though with the set up process because I didn't want to use the passport option for password protection. Anyway, thanks for all of your suggestions Michael. Which choice are you referring to: the bank list or the "my bank isn'tlisted" link? What steps do you take to return to account setup for your Credit Union? At the first step you get to, is there a Back button that might take you back to the bank selection list? JB |

| Hi Again John, That choice isn't offered which is strange because I have seen it before. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that I started the online setup but than cancelled it. Maybe it's just time I forget about trying to fix this? Thanks so much for trying to help. | Yes, same person. I think I've used newsgroups about five times in my life and not for quite some time. I went back and changed the infor in my account to the name I usually go by. Thanks for pointing that out. What happens John is that I get directed to sign up for the services with credit union account but stop when MM06 tells me that in order for this acount to download I need to use the passport option. I download all other accounts using just the MM06 with just the password protection. I would rather enter this one account manually instead. There just doesn't seem to be any way to back out of this to the way I had it. I suppose I was just hoping that the options for this account changed to online updates. Since the credit union/bank still doesn't support this... | Hi JB, I think what happened when I tried to set up online downloads with this particular account I found out that the downloads were run by a third party and in order to continue with the process I would have to alter the way I use passwords in MM06. Since I didn't want to do this, I ended up with the account added to the statements page but due to my choice not downloading. Now, I can't seem to find a way to disable online services for this account. Am I missing some setting page? I definitely can't seem to find it but I sure would love to do this. | Hi Wally, Why does closing an account involve cut/paste and/or transfer issues? It just won't show up on the list -- you can still get to it if necessary. | Hi Michael, Thanks for reply to the view downloaded statements page problem. If my memory serves me well, I think I did just that with a former account but because of all the cut and paste or transfer assets to another faux account I was trying to avoid just that. I was hoping for a solution that I was just missing. Sincere thanks though, Wally "Michael Gordon" <gordonm[at]denison.edu> wrote in message news:uvFiZrCAHHA.4348[at]TK2MSFTNGP04.phx.gbl... - quote - > Would closing the account be an option for you? > -- > Michael Gordon > "Fred" <2youngbloodsnospam[at]msn.com> wrote in message > news:4NH2h.116$lY5.53[at]bignews6.bellsouth.net... > > Is there a way to eliminate an account that shows up on the view > > downloaded statments page?
