I should have started a new thread with this question, sorry.

My existing direct connect settings still work with my online financial
institutions. However, I am unable to setup online services for a FI from
the list because of the "404 Not Found" error mentioned below. Did I miss a
Money 2002 update somewhere?

Is there not a way to setup new connections in Money 2002? Does it have
something to do with the version of OFX/OFC that Money 2002 is using?

Cal, if you knew how few of the functions of MS Money my wife uses, the tip
on increasing the speed of the portfolio function is moot. She used M02
merely to keep track of the spending and balances of her various accounts,
NEVER going online with her bank.

I hate to buy a new CD for anything, because there is that ramping up time
involved, and in this case, she would NOT like to learn the nuances of M07,
if it is more complicated, which would lessen her use of Money.

weaknesses of both M06 & M07, and I am more inclined now to try to find a
good M02 disk on eBay than buy a copy of M07 Deluxe.

I upgraded from 2002 to 2003 a few years back and still have the disk for
2002. I would like to upgrade to the latest (2007) but I now know 2003 like
the back of my hand. So why upgrade! 2003 has a few things I don't like,
but if I upgrade to 2007 it perhaps would have dislikes too.

The reason M2K wouldn't work with M02 backups is that Money files have never
been backward compatible with prior versions.

My wife used M2002 to keep tabs on her spending, but during a recent move,
and the purchase of a new laptop, the CD was lost.

I tried to use A M2000 Deluxe CD to open the floppy disk backups made on
10-17-2006 to no avail.

The M2007 software sounds bad, and I can't find a new copy of M2006 to
purchase, so am I stuck with M2007 Deluxe to enable my wife to use her floppy
backups to begin working with her past Money information?

Maybe I am reading more into the postings about M2007 than needed?

Anybody have any ideas for me? Should I try to find M2006 to buy, or should
I bite the bullet and buy the M2007 Deluxe software?
