| This worked for me. Uninstall IE7. Reboot. Open Money 2007 and follow update process. Reinstall IE7. This should solve this problem associated with a software bug in IE7. |

| I just downloaded Money 2007 Deluxe Trial and installed. Yep It does crash when tried to update. I have the IE7 installed (not beta). It seems that money 2007 update utility conflicts with IE7. I have not problem with IE6. I clicked the send error button. I hope they will resolve this known issue. -- Good "gbp007" wrote: - quote - > When i install the trial version it doesnt give me the error...The thing is i > dont want to stay using a trial version and want to be able to use my money > 2007 home and business version..About the source , what exactly does that > mean ? > "donkuok" wrote: > > Please uninstall it and install a Trial version of money 2007. | Not sure if this will work but you can try goin to c:/program files/microsoft money 2007/mnycorefiles and renaming daupdate.exe to daupdate1.exe and try to open money see if it works then if not try double clicking on daupdate.exe without money opened let the update go threw then reopen money and see how it works if you cannot see the mnycore files go to tools at the top of any explorer screen and go to folder options and choose the view tab uncheck hide protected operating system files and check show hidden files and folders "gbp007" <gbp007[at]discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:E09A9145-0484-4881-BF63-DD53F1FF848E[at]microsoft.com... - quote - > I jst installed IE7 and when i finish installing money 2007 and then i go > to > log on money 2007 with my account it gives me a message saying - to > continue > operating sucessfully, money requires a software update.click ok to close > money and begin the update now.. after i close and click ok , i then get > an > error that says daupdate.exe - application error..after it downloads ther > update the install errors out and fails..Please somebody help .. > -- |
