Thanks for the help. In the meantime I found OneCareLive was killing my
system and did a re-install of everything. This time Money told me to log on
as admin and update. I did and it works flawlessy now.

So when you start M2006 in Vista, it says that it's downloading files.
Is that part of the install or when you choose "update" ? DID it ever
work OK in Vista?

with no network.

If it is not updating after that optomize internet explorer by following the
below steps and reinstall money and tell us how it works
Step1: Open up Internet Explorer

Step2: Go to tool> Internet Options

Step3: Click Clear History, Delete Files, Delete Cookies in IE7 click delete
browsing histroy then choose the items there

Step4: At the top of the screen click the security tab

Step5: Left click on Internet once then click default level--Repeat for
Local Intranet Trusted Sites, And Restricted Sites

Step6: At the top of the screen click the privacy tab then click advanced

Step7: Put a check in "Override Automatic Cookie Handling" also set First
and Third party cookies to ACCEPT and check always allow session cookies and
click OK

Step8: At the top of the screen choose advanced and at the bottom right hand
corner click restore defaults and click ok

Check for firewalls on the system and also close money and reopen but before
you to right click on the icon and go to Log In As and log in as the main
admin this should fix it

I know Vista is not supported but it runs fine for me on Vista RC2 #5744.
When it starts up it says it's D/Ling additional files and just keeps on
going at 1%. My find and a few other options will not work while it thinks
it's D/Ling and updating. Is there a way to stop this? When I go to the
Alerts Center I get the same "Command not available while Money upgrades"
