It brought in all my old information, now I just need to update a few days entries and try to find the differences in this version as well as any configurations that I may not like. BTW the the box I got was a little different than the first one I looked at. The first one offered a full refund if not satisfied and this one did clearly state that it would import all "Money" files. I figured I was safe with that if it did not work out. Thanks again. |

My old version of the home version of Money (older than SB version) did not even recognize the file. |

Yes. You could use a newer version, such as Money 2007 Deluxe.> files? During conversion expect a warning that the business features will not be supported in the file. |

| I need to use an existing MS Money Small Business file. I no longer need the features of the Small Business edition. The problem appears to be that the home MS Money programs can not read or import the Small Business file. I was a club treasurer and those duties required the features of the Small Business version. so when I passed on those duties, I also passed on the software. However, foolishly I discovered that nothing I have can read my personal files. It appears that my older version of Money (for home use) will not read the files. While I know the home versions do not use some of the features of the SB version, my personal data did not use any of those features. In fact no account changes were made after I switched to the SB version. Does only know what my options are. I would hate to pay the full cost of the SB version when I have no need for the additional features. Do any current version of Money (other than Small Business) read those files? How about similar programs from other vendors? Any commercial services who might convert the data? Thanks -- Joseph Meehan |
