| Thanks to all who tried to help, but I have now discovered the trouble was caused by settings in my Comodo Fire Wall. |

| I believe that 2005 Standard has a 2 year limit on updates. If you installed 2005 Standard more than two years ago the update feature will have timed out. If you have a different version of Money or you installed it less than two years ago, your problem is obviously different. -- Peace, BobJ "gillman" <gillman[at]discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:29278483-88E6-400C-905F-15A064417002[at]microsoft.com... - quote - > BTW -- Apparently my problem is not with IE7. In IE6, I would go to> Any ideas please Tools-> InternetOptions-> Security-> TrustedSites-> Sites list and uncheck "Require server verification... ". In the trusted sites list I would add these: moneycentral.msn.com fdl.microsoft.com passport.com passport.net login.live.com g.msn.com money:// Check that the SSL2 protocol is enabled. That checkbox may be in Tools-> InternetOptions-> Advanced. |
