Default RE: Money 2005 and IE 7

Thanks to all who tried to help, but I have now discovered the trouble was
caused by settings in my Comodo Fire Wall.

I believe that 2005 Standard has a 2 year limit on updates. If you
installed 2005 Standard more than two years ago the update feature will have
timed out. If you have a different version of Money or you installed it
less than two years ago, your problem is obviously different.

BTW -- Apparently my problem is not with IE7. I just uninstalled IE7 and
tried running the updates but that also didn't work. Apologies for butting
into this discussion!

I was also advised to do this, by a tech person on "chat" help, but
unfortunately it didn't work.

In IE6, I would go to
Tools-> InternetOptions-> Security-> TrustedSites-> Sites list and
uncheck "Require server verification... ". In the trusted sites
list I would add these:

moneycentral.msn.com
fdl.microsoft.com
passport.com
passport.net
login.live.com
g.msn.com
money://

Check that the SSL2 protocol is enabled. That checkbox may be in
Tools-> InternetOptions-> Advanced.
