| Yes, you are right. Don't know what the OP actually needs to do but he should be able to figure something out from our posts. | This will exclude the individual transactions from the "Actual" portion of the budget. But it won't exclude the scheduled bills & deposits from the "Budgeted" portion of the budget. So, for example, let's say you have a mortgage payment of $1000. This will show up in the budget under the "Special" section as "Debt". By viewing the transactions and then taking them out of budget, you will turn the "Actual" column to $0, but the "Budgeted" column will remain $1000. Your budget will appear to be $1000 to the good. I understood the OP to be asking how to get rid of the entire line from the budget, not just making part of it $0. But I could be wrong. | If I understand what you are talking about, yes - simply right click on the transaction and choose "exclude from budget". You can do this from the budget planner by double clicking on the line for transfers in or out of budget accounts then right click on the individual transaction you want to exclude. | Well, there's no way to change that from w/in Budget Planner. However, you can get rid of it two ways: 1) Remove the scheduled bill that's generating the "special" entry, or 2) Pay that bill from an account that is not "in budget". You can make an account not be "in budget" by going into it's account details and unchecking "include this account in the budget planner" But other than that... nope. | In Money 2004, I am trying to adjust my budget. Under "special," the program lists payments that I do not want included in my budget. Does anyone know how I can change that? |
