| Cool. I'm anxious to see if anyone experiences the M04 expiration. So write back if you do actually experience it. | Mea culpa - stupid cockpit error on my part I was downloading as qfx and Import - File - shows OFX files which I tried to import to M2004 - no go. From the dropdown I selected ALL , selected the QFX files (duh) and it still works fine. | Three things I'd try (in this order) 1) On the current machine, open up a new file, create a new account and try to import transactions into it. If this fails, then you probably have expired and the expiration is based on some date of installation stored on the machine. 2) On a different machine (for which Money 04 has never been installed) install M04 onto it. Create a new file and try to import transactions into it. I would expect this to always succeed prior to 9/1/07. 3) Now copy over your old file to that other machine and try to import transactions into it. If this fails, then you probably have expired and the expiration is based on some date that is stored directly in the .mny file. If all 3 succeed, then I don't think you've expired, but that there's some other problem that you're having. Of course, that's just a guess. | Yeah, there are about 10 transactions. ( they import into M2006 fine) Money doesn't fetch it for me normally. I have to go to my bank website, login, and EXPORT, then import into Money. Tried ofx and qfx. I have 8 checks written and 2 transfers, and normally I have to enter the check numbers - no new data - same balance as before. Last downloaded info in my register still shows as early Sept. | I am not having import issues. Have you checked the OFX file to ensure that there are actually new transactions in there? It's just a text file, you should be able to open it up and look at the transactions that it gives you. | Anyone else having import issues ? I just downloaded my checking/charge card info and M2004 deluxe won't import them. The program SAYS "import complete" but no data imported. I just read the EULA and it states 3yrs or Sept 2007 whichever is first. I looked at dates and looks like I installed it Nov 2004. Any advice / things to try ( other than buy new version). I do have M2006 Deluxe running too, (imported same file fine) but like M2004. Money-Help- License info shows: .. Expiration of Online Services. In accordance with the Microsoft Money 2004 Online Services Policy, you will not be able to use the Online Services of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT (such as the ability to automatically and online: 1) track and update your accounts and investment values inside the SOFTWARE PRODUCT, 2) synchronize financial data with MSNŽ Money, 3) pay bills, and 4) communicate with your financial institutions) after expiration of the following time periods: . Microsoft Money 2004 Deluxe/Microsoft Money 2004 Premium/Microsoft Money 2004 Small Business: The earlier of three (3) years after your activation of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT or September 1, 2007. |
