Essentials won't accept data from other versions; you need to get Deluxe.

It's small price for frustration avoidance.

No, I'm not trying to change, Just trying to go from 2002 to 2007 and get
with the times, so to speak. Guess I'll shell out the extra bucks for Deluxe.
Thank you!

MEss doesn't upgrade from earlier versions. That's not essential. It's a
different usage model as well. Deluxe should upgrade your file, provided you
are not trying to change localizations (e.g., M02 UK to M07 Deluxe US).

For whatever it's worth I tested M2006 about a year ago (downloaded trial)
and it converted my M2002 file perfectly. So you can probably use 2006 to
convert your 2002 file then try 2007 again?

After the test, I deleted M2006!

M2002 rules!

Bill Wood

Default upgrading information from 2002

I have installed 2007 Essentials and can't seem to transfer my information
from Money 2002. Are there any versions of 2007 that will allow that ie,
"Deluxe"? If not, would an earlier version , such as Money 2006 let me do
this?
