Money 2007 and Not being able to connect to internet

OK, I made it work. Basically, I went to http://moneycentral.msn.com/home.asp
and signed in, I had some trouble getting the sign in screen so I added
www.msn.com and www.live.com were on my "allow" sites under Internet
Options/Privacy/Sites. That allowed me to sign in, then I signed out. When I
tried signin in to Windows Live ID from Money, this time it worked. Don't ask
why. I had been able to sign in to Live ID through IE7 before. Ah, the
mysteries of cyberspace.

I give up. My last option is re-install Money. I haven't heard any other
solutions. The Tech insinuated that other programs in my computer might be
blocking Money from accessing the Internet. Well, the only program that has
changed was the IE upgrade. Aren't they both Microsoft? Don't the developers
talk to each other? This is very annoying.

He is probably experiencing exactly what I am:

ever since the vista update to money 2007 deluxe, money returns the
error:
"You must be connected to the internet to sign in online"

every time you try to open the file in 'online' mode.

Obviously my PC is connected to the internet, because I am in the same
session posting this message....

I shut down Zone Alarm, no help.

Money 'thinks about it' for about 3 or 4 minutes (totally unresponsive
to alt-tabs, etc), then comes back with that exceedingly helpful
message.

Something has been broken by the update.

Or maybe my internet needs replacing

Mine is IE7 version 7.0.5730.11 and can't sign-in to Money 97 Premier using
Windows Live ID. I just installed an upgrade from Money. Before that, I had
no problems.

After installing Money 2007 and then trying to use my Live ID to sign in to
create a new Money file. I still have not been successful to use my Live
account or even create a Live account from the program. I have run through
all the Money 2007 troubleshooting documents and each time has still produced
the same result in that the program is not able to verify my sign-in
information. If there is anyone else that has run into this please let me
know what you might have done to resolve this. By the Way I am running
Windows XP SP2 with IE7.
