| Uh. Windows defender is still available for free: http://www.microsoft.com/athome/secu...e/default.mspx I never have these kind of problems, I can't imagine I am sooo lucky. Maybe its operator error. -- DENNY BROWNE "bwbob" <bwbob[at]discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:4518BD2A-3507-43EE-B5F5-D168BFF1663B[at]microsoft.com... - quote - > My point was, that software should continue to develop forward, not back. > As > for improvements, I had experianced very few crashes with $05 or $02. $07 > gives me an "this operation cannot be performed" message ever time I try > to > complete more than 12-15 transactions. | My point was, that software should continue to develop forward, not back. As for improvements, I had experianced very few crashes with $05 or $02. $07 gives me an "this operation cannot be performed" message ever time I try to complete more than 12-15 transactions. As for "better transaction matching", I have not seen any improvement in my register. The Money for PPC product was already done and had not changed at all in the last few years, so aside from building the bridge to the new file structure, which they have done before, they really wouldnt have had to do much. If the whole point of $07 is to change the business model over to more fee based and partner services then the marketing department should differentiate the product from past releases. Notice how with the release of windows live protection the beta releases of Windows Defender dissapeared right off your computer? How long will we have to decrypt EULA's to determine if the product has hidden agendas? MS has spent millions protecting their "intellectual property". If this keeps up, their property values will drop. | How much data did you download from the Internet back when you had Win 3.1? | I can not believe that MS would pull the PPC app. I dove into M07 and will now choose to go back to 05. The time wasted on this should be billable to MS since 07 has bugs in it anyway and apparently no updates that I have seen. I was annoyed by the ads when I bumped from 02 but liked the added functions. Maybe I should go back to Windows 3.1 while I am at it. I dont remember getting attacked by viruses back then. |
