If you bought it at a store, the best thing is to return it. Then
get the right one.

Default Money 2005 US - importing statements

Hi everyone,

I'm a new user of Money - well I own Money 98 and tried to run it
(after finding the disc) on my XP but it wasn't at all happy, so I
bought Money 2005, which was meant to be UK, but after installing
realised it's not - it's the US version.

Ok, so I have a US version, how do I work with it - I can't do anything
electronically with my bank as it's the Nationwide in the UK - so I've
looked into manually importing my statements. I don't really care how
it ends up working, I just need something to work with!

I visit Nationwide and have managed to d/l a statement - the options I
had are excel or CSV. I chose Excel & also CSV.

Opening up each saved statement works fine, but within Money 2005 the
'importing' function will only allow OFX.

I can't change my d/l files into OFX (can I?) - and I've tried
importing the two files I have but Money won't have any of it.

So am I utterly stuck with a piece of software I can't use?

I have read on various groups/MS site and others that Nationwide is a
good bank to work with Money - I just can't seem to do what I need to -
can anyone please help?

Thank you all in advance!

Lisa
