| Install money 2004 with IE6 and then update to IE7 - worked for me. "Marilyn & Bob" <Privacy[at]nospam.please> wrote in message news:%23vTVSW48GHA.4708[at]TK2MSFTNGP05.phx.gbl... IE7 went Gold yesterday, so that excuse is no longer valid. When I opened Money today there did not seem any program updates, so there may not be a fix yet. On the other hand, changes may have been made to the released version of IE7 that will avoid the conflicts with Money. I would suggest uninstalling the Beta IE7 and installing the Gold version and then try to install Money again. -- Peace, BobJ "Bob Peel, MVP" <bob_peel[at]kiandra.freeserve.co.uk.INVALID> wrote in message news:O7FrYCu8GHA.536[at]TK2MSFTNGP04.phx.gbl... - quote - > Not yet. | That having been said, M04 seems to work with IE7--or at least it was back in August when I was running that combination. That also having been said, if the M04 setup code thinks an IE7 system needs IE6 installed, then this may not ever get any better, even if M04 works fine with IE13, regardless of what is "supported". | Hi, Upgraded my hardware, installed XP SP2, all software and upgrades. Things are humming along... better than I expected. I decided to install the IE7 beta and it to is running well. Now the dilemma... Went to install Money 2004 Deluxe (retail CD) and it insists on installing IE6. IE7 shows an "ie6wzd" error message immediately after running the Money setup. I don't want IE6 anymore... any fix for this? Thanks, Jon --------------= Posted using GrabIt =---------------- ------= Binary Usenet downloading made easy =--------- -= Get GrabIt for free from http://www.shemes.com/ =- |
